A Message from the Principal
 

Dear Families:

We are very excited to be able to bring a new public charter school to the Menifee Valley, the Santa Rosa Academy! With so few alternative educational opportunities for children in Southwest Riverside County, we anticipate a large number of inquires into our program. We will be able to offer you an excellent program and hope to be your school of choice. As a public school, Santa Rosa is free of charge and is open to all school age residents of Riverside County.

Our program includes Home Study for K-12, a two day a week program for grades K-5
and a site based program for grades 6-12. We believe in challenging students to become productive citizens of our society and we have a set of Core Values that we feel are most important in accomplishing this goal: Individualized Achievement, Technologically Advanced and Trained, Solid Character Development, Mental and Physical Alertness, Artistic Awareness, and a dedication to Volunteerism.

We have set high academic and behavioral expectations for all students and are committed to focusing on each child individually in order for them to reach those expectations. Students will be evaluated upon entry into the program and we will not only look at their academic levels but their individual learning style, interest and talents. Students will work towards mastery of the California State Standards and we will work with them on their own Individual Learning Plan setting challenging yet achievable goals. Whether they are academically advanced or have gaps in their learning, we are here to help them succeed!
